I just finished "Girls", the HBO series created by Lena Dunham and I really liked it! I always like anything that is set in New York anyway and it was very down to earth and wonderful.
When I finish a season of a show I become very lost in reality and just in a state of numbness as if my life should just carry on with the on-going's of the characters. But I won't be seeing anymore of Girls until January and normally I would be very impatient with the wait of a new season of a show but now, it is autumn which is awesome as all my favourite sitcoms come back and help me through the cold months.
Glee came back and I was weary of going back to it but Rachel Berry in now in New York. Rachel Berry. New York. My two favourite things! So I am watching it and so far it is good I'm very interested in Rachel Berry she is my without a doubt my fictional muse. And I am really enjoying Finn Hudson's absence, keep it up Glee!
Did you watch The Office? I really enjoyed the first episode to the season as Jim's new job opportunity is keeping things fresh as something interesting is happening with Jim and Pam now. After Jim phoned I was nearly in tears about how happy he looked that something was changing.
Parks and Recreation also started back up which is a relief because I require Leslie Knope's optimism to keep me doing my own work! Ron Swanson was hilarious as always.
I'm currently having a break from school on the September weekend and it's nice but I've been eating terribly recently. Today I had a chippy, some ice cream, strawberry trifle, wine gums and mentos (that's not even mentioning my other two meals!) and it really does affect my performance so tomorrow I'm back on the healthy eating and drinking water because A. my face is red and puffy and B. School photos on Tuesday. I want to look fresh-faced for that!
I leave you with this picture of the lovely Jessa Johansson from Girls (Jemima Kirke)
